Sigurd Hartkorn Plaetner

Sigurd is a Danish author and award-winning storyteller working in the intersection of fiction and documentary. He has published three books — one adapted into a television series and another recipient of the Danish Literature Prize — and his acclaimed audio documentaries have twice been shortlisted for the Prix Italia and Prix Europa - two of the world’s most prestigious broadcasting awards.

Beyond literature and radio, he often blends genres across theatre, art events, and festivals, exploring new ways to combine narrative forms and media.

At Woodward, he will be working on a new novel.
