Suzy Levinson

Suzy is a children’s author and poet whose work has been featured in numerous anthologies, including A World Full of Poems (DK Children), I Am a Jigsaw: Puzzling Poems to Baffle Your Brain (Bloomsbury Education), and Shaping the World: 40 Historical Heroes in Verse (Macmillan), and magazines, including Highlights and Cricket.

Her award-winning, critically acclaimed debut picture book–length poetry collection, Animals in Pants (Abrams), was published in 2023. Her next, Dinos That Drive (Tundra Books), hits shelves in 2025. And she has more children’s books on the way! Originally from Massachusetts, she now lives in Queens.

At Woodward, she will be working on her first middle-grade novel-in-verse.
