Dedipta Bhattacharjee

Dedipta holds a BA in Creative Writing and Asian Studies from the City College of New York. Her work has appeared in Livina Press, Poetry in Performance, and Promethean, and is forthcoming with Tabaria Cafe. She has received support from PEN America, the Wild Seeds Retreat, and the Liturgy Residency at Ox-Bow. She loves traveling, coffee, books, and any situation that brings all three together. She believes writing is a powerful resource and is still on the journey of figuring out what that means.

At Woodward, she will research feminist theory and explore new mediums for writing about women’s history.
