Calvin Gimpelevich

Calvin is an NEA Fellow, the recipient of a Lambda Literary Award, and the author of Invasions (Instar 2018). His work has appeared in Ploughshares, LA Review of Books, Kenyon Review, A Public Space, and The Best American Essays 2022. He founded the T4T Reading Series in Boston, MA.

At Woodward, Calvin will be working on an essay collection and a novel dealing with the Cold War, the Red Scare, the Lavender Panic, and the ways paranoias around LGBT people mirrored each other in the United States and Soviet Union.
