Alex Smithline

Alex is a New York City based filmmaker, writer, and comedian. He is co-founder of Another Wednesday, a NYC-based production company with a focus on documentaries, field pieces, and scripted work. His mom won’t admit it, but he is definitely her favorite. Several of his films have screened throughout the United States, including NFFTY, the Beverly Hills Film Festival, SIFF, and for New York Magazine. At present, he is training for a half marathon and realizing it is not the same thing as a 5K.

At Woodward, Alex will be developing a documentary about his attempt to plan his high school's ten-year reunion, despite not having spoken to most of his classmates since graduation.
