Karin Hoelzl
Most of Karin’s childhood was spent making theater in her grandparents’ barn in Middleburg, Virginia. She holds an MFA in Acting in Classical and Contemporary Text from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and a BFA in Acting from Emerson College. As an artist, Karin is drawn to physical theater, devising processes, experimental retellings and new writing.
At Woodward, she plans to continue working on the development of her play, Bird, as well as a few other shorter writing projects.
