Hannah Engelson

Hannah is a filmmaker and cinematographer who specializes in character-driven, observational documentaries and impressionistic visuals. Her cinematography work has screened at festivals including SXSW, DOC NYC, DC/DOX, and the Hamptons International Film Festival; streamed on Netflix, Hulu, and Sky Documentaries; and broadcast on PBS (American Masters, Great Performances, World Channel).

She has collaborated with clients including the Empire State Building, Google, Matador Records, and the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. Hannah is currently an ASC Vision Mentee and the cinematographer and co-producer of a feature documentary about a senior womens basketball team.

At Woodward, she will be working on a short documentary about adults learning how to ride a bicycle.
