Elliot Connors

Elliot is a Canadian-American writer based in Brooklyn. Most recently, he was named a Just for Laughs New Face for his animated pilot Omni, as well as a finalist for the Humanitas Carol Mendelsohn Award for his feature drama, Saint-Léon.

As a playwright, he is a member of the NYC theater company Colt Coeur and has presented his work at the Public Theater. His prose has been featured in The Best American Essays, McSweeney’s, and The Yale Record, of which he was Editor-in-Chief. His debut short film is now streaming on NoBudge.

At Woodward, he will be working on a revision of his play Bachelor Party! as well as a new feature script.
