Sophie van Well Groeneveld

Sophie is a writer and critic from London based in Queens. Her writing has been published in journals and media such as The Guardian, ArtReview, New York Review of Architecture, and Los Angeles Review of Books.

She received an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from New York University . She has been awarded an Arts Council England National Lottery Project grant for 2026.

At Woodward, Sophie will be working on a creative nonfiction book project.
