David Steinberg

David is a photographer and artist based between New York and Minnesota. Utilizing photography, installations, and books, his practice engages with scientific and ecological thought, lately focusing on representations of outer-space. He has taught at Syracuse University, SUNY New Paltz and the University of New Haven. Recently he presented a solo show at the Reminders Photography Stronghold in Tokyo, and been an artist in residence at Laimun in Sardinia. And even more recently he has been taking care of his dog and his newborn.

He has a BA in political science from the University of Minnesota, a certificate from the International Center of Photography, and an MFA from Syracuse University.
