Matthew Jellison

Matthew is a playwright, actor, educator, and native New Yorker. He is the author of the play cycle the giants, which premiered at Loft 227 in 2016, and received subsequent productions and development opportunities at TOWN Stages, Barn Arts Collective, and Cloud City. He is the 2012/13 Kenan Playwriting Fellow at the Kennedy Center, an inaugural 2018 TOWN Stages Fellow, a two-time playwriting observer at the Eugene O’Neill Playwrights Conference, an alumnus of the Freshground Pepper Playground Playlab, and a finalist for the Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab.
