Janielle Kastner

Janielle is a Brooklyn-based (Dallas-born) writer, playwright, and audio creator who considers her medium to be anything with words — whether projected in a large-scale text installation, live on a stage, or shared intimately in your ear buds. Recent projects include a meta-memoir podcast UNTITLED DAD PROJECT (IndieWire's #1 Episode of 2019), and new play HERE KITTY KITTY (2023 O'Neill Semifinalist) about storytelling, bystander effect, and Kitty Genovese.
