Florencia Alvarado

Florencia (Maracaibo, Venezuela 1984) is a visual artist, photographer and designer based in Ridgewood, Queens. Her work explores the deconstruction of photographic image through digital art, collage and self-portrait and has been exhibited in Museums, Galleries and Exhibitions in Caracas, Sao Paulo, Medellin, New York, Madrid among other cities. She is one of the Founders and Co-editors of WMN Zine, a Lesbian publication awarded with the Queens Funding for the Arts Grant.
