Kevin Cheng

Kevin is a Taiwanese actor and playwright based in NYC, with a passion for telling stories that explore how people grope their way toward a sense of equanimity in face of unexpected life events. His work has been developed at The Chain Theatre, East Village Basement, Brooklyn Art Haus, The Players Theatre, Gene Frankel Theatre, Secret Theatre, and The Flea.

Kevin is currently the New Work Development Chair for Purple Light Productions, and the Administrative Producer for Murmuration Theatre Company. He recently co-wrote the audio drama "Donne Di Fora" with Jackie Jorgenson as part of the award-nominated fiction podcast Tales From The Aether. On screen, Kevin will play a lead in the upcoming feature A Journey of Jack and Tom.

At Woodward, Kevin will continue to develop his first full-length play, A Season for Iowans, a darkly comedic play about love and friendship in small towns of Midwest America.
