Aditi Sridhar
Aditi is a Brooklyn-based director, producer, and writer. Raised in a small town in Western Pennsylvania as the daughter of Indian immigrants, she tells culturally specific stories rooted in place and memory, exploring how people redefine their sense of belonging within moments of transition.
Her directing work includes the award-winning short films Aloo Poori, PIVOT, and Stuck In A Moment, which have screened at festivals around the world, including the Three Rivers Film Festival, UK Asian Film Festival, Chicago South Asian Film Festival, and Fargo Film Festival. This year, she co-directed the dramedy series American Born Confused Desi, a coming-of-age series exploring sisterhood, cultural within the South Asian diaspora.
Aditi previously worked at Warner Bros. Pictures, is an alum of Academy Gold Rising, where she was selected as a Trophy Presenter at the 95th Academy Awards, and is currently a mentee with Azn Americana. Most recently, she produced a feature-length documentary on Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright August Wilson, exploring how Pittsburgh shaped one of America's most influential writers.
At Woodward she will be working on her next film project.
