Narie Foster
Narie is a writer, filmmaker, theatermaker, and coach.
She wrote, produced, and performed 1 in a Chameleon, a solo show about identity that merges theater, storytelling, and comedy, selling out runs at the Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringe festivals, as well as off-off-Broadway in New York. Her storytelling has also been featured on The Moth, BBC, and Generation Women.
Narie was raised between Syracuse, NY and Bangkok, Thailand, and wound her way through systems engineering, management consulting, co-founding a fashion brand, and becoming an executive coach, before landing on storytelling. Today, she splits her time between writing, developing as a filmmaker, and helping other people communicate who they are through personal ghostwriting and self-expression coaching.
Whether the subject is a real person or a fictional character, Narie’s passion is understanding every ‘who are you?’ puzzle and helping others feel seen and expanded.
At Woodward, she will be working on a screenplay for a food-forward romantic dramedy feature film.
